Kletzenbread

Kletzenbread is a bread of dark color with a firm texture, generously filled with figs, pears, plums, nuts, hazelnuts, grapes, spices and rum. Its single taste and its fragrance are sweet and slightly spiced.

Kletzenbread is manufactured in an artisanal way, according to an old authentic Austrian recipe. The ingredients used are of a very high quality. The leaven addition which produces a natural fermentation of more than 4 hours allows to obtain a bread more easily to digest. These various savours gives us a very special bread with a delicious aroma.

 

Kletzenbread does not only look very well, it also tastes very well on its own, but also with various cheeses, a glass of Porto, or as a dessert accompanied by ice and roasted almonds.
